MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: March 17, 2008
Present: Stephen Enoch, John Makuc, Robert Annelli and Peter Kolodziej
The meeting began at 3:45pm
1. Mail was reviewed.
2. The minutes from 3.3.08 were approved as written.
3. The ZBA special permit application for Johnson on Elephant Rock Rd was reviewed. The Board submitted their response to the ZBA. The Board would require a Title 5 Inspection be performed to confirm the location of the existing system and that the system is functioning properly.
4. The Board reviewed the Town Clerk’s response regarding attesting the signatures on the adopted amended tobacco regulations and placing them in the Town Bylaws book. It is now understood that in order for something to be placed in the Town Bylaws it needs to have been passed at a Town Meeting rather than just at a Board of Health meeting. Regarding the attesting of signatures the Clerk had suggested that a notary would have been more appropriate but the Board reviewed the state regulations and attesting the signatures is what was needed.
5. The Board voted to accept and sign the Western Region Homeland Security Advisory Council Mutual Aid Agreement and addendum. The Select Board still needs to sign. A cover letter was written to the Select Board with the signed agreement.
6. The next meeting will be Monday, April 7th.
